Terms and Conditions of Spa Use
Advanced Reservations
We highly recommend that you schedule your appointments at least four days or more in advance to ensure that your preferred time and treatment or service is available. Online bookings need to be made a minimum of 1 hour prior to your treatment. If you wish to book at the last minute, please call us at 970-368-6407 to confirm availability.
Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy to other spa guests and our therapists, we require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations in order to avoid being charged a fee. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be charged 50% of the treatment cost. No shows (or appointments cancelled less than 2 hours from the starting time) will be charged the full amount. A credit card number, advanced payment, or Mt. Royal Spa gift certificate/voucher is required at the time of the booking. If you redeem a gift certificate/voucher it will be considered redeemed at the time of booking. For spa packages and two or more guests coming together, we require a 48-hour cancellation notice to avoid a 100% cancellation fee. Group bookings require a 50% deposit at time of booking. We do not provide refunds for cancelled (see timeframes above) or missed appointments and these cancelled (see timeframes above) and/or missed appointments may only be rescheduled for a full or partial credit at our sole discretion. Oftentimes, a cancelled (see timeframes above) or missed appointment is unable to receive a future credit of any kind.
Spa Arrival
We recommend that you check in at spa reception at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment. This gives you time to complete a client intake form, enjoy a warm or cool beverage and to relax prior to your service. Late arrival may mean a reduced treatment time as we must finish on time regardless of the time that you arrive in order to accommodate the next appointment. After your treatment, please enjoy the spa's relaxation area our “Reflection Room.”
Payment Types
We accept cash, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express through our secure Fresha payment system - with proper identification.
Spa Etiquette
Our spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect all spa guests' right to privacy and serenity. Please turn off all cellular phones and pagers while in the spa area and please keep voices to a whisper.
Each of our clients may only enter the treatment room once the therapist has invited them to do so. Clients must exit the treatment room within 5 minutes of the conclusion of service in order to prepare the room for the next client.
No other person may enter or be present in the treatment room except the therapist and client (except for a parent accompanying a minor during treatment).
Guests under 16 and under 18
Guests under 16 must always be accompanied by a responsible adult while in the spa. If a guest under 16 receives a treatment they must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian while preparing for, during, and after treatment. Guests under 18 must have a parent or legal guardians signature on the intake form.
Health Conditions
Please advise us of any health conditions, allergies, or injuries that could affect your treatment or service when making your spa reservation. Frisco Inn on Galena Street, LLC dba Mount Royal Spa (Mt. Royal Spa) and Frisco Inn on Galena Street, LLC dba Frisco Inn on Galena is held harmless for any information not provided to us at the time of service.
Cleanliness
In keeping with our commitment to cleanliness, safety, and hygiene, our equipment is sterilized and sanitized after every treatment and service.
Pregnancy
We have specially designed treatments for expectant mothers. Please allow spa reception and therapists to guide you in selecting which treatments and services are most suitable for you during this special time. These services may not be available at all times so please inquire as to availability.
Loss or Damage
We regret that we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage of personal articles. Please keep all valuables with you during your visit. We have lockers available for your use. We are not responsible for articles stored in the lockers.
Product Returns
All our gift shop items are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.
Gift Certificates and Vouchers
Mt. Royal Spa gift certificates/vouchers are non-refundable. Gift certificates/vouchers must be used within 12 months of purchase or as noted on the validity dates. Gift certificates/vouchers may not be used to purchase or be exchanged for other gift certificates, vouchers or cash. Mt. Royal Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates or vouchers.
Prices
Prices for services and products are subject to change on our website, brochures, and menus without advance notice.
Terms and Conditions
Mt. Royal Spa reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its sole discretion without advance notice.
Right of Refusal
Mt. Royal Spa reserves the right to refuse service or discontinue service to any client for improper conduct. Inappropriate conduct or language before, during, or after a service will result in immediate termination of the service. We reserve the right to define inappropriate conduct. Inappropriate conduct may result in denial of future service at our sole discretion. A refund will not be issued for a client's inappropriate behavior and the client will be charged for all services booked.

Online Booking

- Exceptions: There are some services that require special attention when scheduling and
therefore, cannot be booked online. If you do not see a service listed, please call us and we will be happy to assist you in
scheduling your appointment.
- Payment: Credit Card Use: Payment for bookings or purchases on the website
indicates that you legally authorize the use of your credit card or other payment
cards for the proposed transaction. It indicates that you fully understand this
agreement. Mt. Royal Spa accepts no liability for any damages resulting from
your use of your credit card on the website.
- Errors: If an error is made while making an online booking or purchase, simply
click the back button on your browser and resubmit the correct information. If you
receive incorrect information from us in your confirmation notice, please contact us
immediately at 970-368-6407.
- No Show: Failure to show for an online scheduled appointment or cancelling less then 2 hours prior to your appointment
start time will result in a credit card charge of the entire price of the missed appointment. By booking your appointment
online, you agree to this term and condition and to the credit card charge.
- Failure to show for a scheduled appointment will result in loss of right to Mt. Royal Spa’s
Online Booking Program.
General Terms
- If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared invalid or illegal for any
reason, then the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in full
force and effect in the same manner as if the invalid or illegal provision had not been
contained herein.
